Bigboss is extremely proud to announce the arrival of a series of absolutely outstanding and stunning new Virtual Sets for iClone.
This is the "3D Sci-Fi Base'' Virtual Set by Barking Dog. This package is intended for easy and fast construction of a Sci-Fi Base movie set. Building Assemblies, furniture and props are all pre-positioned when loaded inot the scene and can be moved around and/or saved as individual props and/or removed from the scene to leave room for proper camera take.
About Barking Dog Props:
Each Prop is designed with the highest standards using a low polygon count, high resolution textures and PBR shader maps for maximum user experience.
NOTES:
The concept was designed by Barking Dog and ported to iClone by Bigboss.
Method of Use:
1) Apply the Virtual set Props to your scene;
2) Further customize by changing diffuse and ambient color of materials;
3) Hide or remove wall assemblies and/or Props to leave room for your favorite take
4) Save set or individual props for use in other movies.
Have Fun! :)

I cannot load the bases since upgrading to IC 7.9, could you please check to see if you also have this issue? I deleted and reinstalled but still same, no other asset affected. Thx

Yes sure they will. Can I just ask if you do custom commissions? Just sounding out if you do.

Good morning,.. Sometimes an iClone update changes the settings for Msx Texture Size. If your setting increased from you prior setting and you are tight on Graphic RAM, this could cause this issue. Try reducing the Max Texture size in iClone Preference and see if it has a effect. Also, once loaded, make sure to select the base object in the Scene Manager and in Modify, press the Auto-link all object textures to make sure shadermap textures are shared across objects. Cheers.

Dear Dealer,
I bought 3D Sci-Fi Base and the product page says it is included a scene file. I can`t find it. I installed the pack on iClone *. Where can I find the scene /project file?
Thanks

Good evening. The pack contains all the props required to rebuild the scene with no trouble as all Props are already prepositioned. Just apply the terrain Prop first and then all other props to the scene and they will all fall in their right position to re-create the scene. You can then save the scene for later use. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Are the buildings are built from parts or each building is a prop of itself?
Can i save walls, doors, etc and rebuild a building of my own?

You can save each building and also each prop like tables, chairs etc separately but you cannot save individual building parts. Of course, I could package it so you can do that but the problem is that each building part would inherit a very large textures which are shared with all building parts and would have to be re-merged after you build your scene. If you have 3DXchange, you can create sub-props with each building part and then save individually but this is a lot of work. Cheers.

The terrain is delivered with the pack as a separate Prop you can convert to a terrain if you want.

Hello, what Terrain is being used for this?
