Product description
Adrian Helmet - Model 1916 - US Edition
This unique version represents the famous and very rare Adrian helmet series with the US emblem.
Each Adrian helmet had a removable badge (depending on the unit, the army corps). The first American volunteers who enlisted at the beginning of the conflict had preferred to wear the French uniform (for prestige reasons and because many of these volunteers were also Francophiles): we can see these volunteers wearing the famous Adrian helmet with the badge "RF" (French Republic). When the USA joined the conflict, most of the volunteers served under the American uniform (which took over some elements of the English forces, notably the helmet). However, these early volunteers preferred to keep their "poilu" uniforms... some of them proposed to put a distinctive badge on it. It should be noted that this emblem was very rare, and in some cases, was placed on the Adrian helmet after the conflict.
The helmet includes a model with an adjustable chin strap (up to 7 morphs) and a "comfort" model (with the chin strap attached to the helmet visor)
Note that you can find this helmet and many other models (including the famous HellFighters unit in the complete collection)
Note that you can find this helmet and many other models (including Harlem Hellfighter Edition in the complete collection)
