Hello and welcome to Brogan’s Bargain Basement ‘Make A Scene’. Why so cheap? Well let’s tell you what processes are used. But first can I ask you take a look at the other ‘Make A Scene’ packs in this series. If you purchased all available at this time then it would not even cost you the equivalent of one dollar US and yet you could create a vast quantity of scenes.  Below are two example scenes made with props from this pack.
Brogan’s Bargain Basement (BBB) ‘Make A Scene’ consists of a set of props created by Ken Long with the assistance of colleagues and others from the Public Domain. Starting as 3D models the original meshes have been redesigned to allow for 2D Renders to be made. This has sometimes involved some remeshing in Blender with the final mesh being exported in fbx format to Substance Painter. The mesh is then painted in appropriate colours and designs for the rendering of a 2D prop. In some cases this involves the use of additional alphas to create the ‘3D’ look in the render(s). The prop is then completed in Photoshop. Photoshop is also used to create the scenes from individual props. In some cases a prop is rendered at different angles thus giving more than one prop in the purchase.
So you are charged a low rate for the work because so much of it starts in the Public Domain and we wish to maintain as much of that philosophy with these props as we can.
