This pack contains 20 different german bier glasses/mugs; some with built-in animation plus animated textures.



WARNING: Please make sure you follow the instructions outlined below, otherwise you will experience major issues with the video diffuse animated textures.

There are 5 different types of mugs included:

#1 - Bierkrug: Alarge glass mug that holds a copious amount of beer.

#2 - Humpfen: the old, traditional ceramic beer mug

#3 - Pilsner: used for pilsner beers

#4 - Weissenbier: used for Weiss & Hefeweiss beers

#5 - Stiefel: a boot shaped large beer glass used in drinking games (if you do not point the toe of the boot downward towards your chest, you will end up with beer all over your face & down the front of your clothing)

Each of these 5 glasses comes 4 ways - with animated beer (various methods used on each); an empty glass; a half full glass & a static full glass.

Also included in the pack are a few extras (just for the fun of it) - 2 different bier bottles and 2 bier coasters.

I made the diffuse videos by using a stark white background & pouring beer into various shaped glass containers & filming the beer liquid & the beer foam seperately. The videos were then edited to provide as seamless an image as possible. (Just FYI, I used more than 10 bottles of 3 different types of beer & no, I did not drink a drop LOL).

One of the beer mugs is rigged & the animation can be edited using the modify panel's animation editor. Some beer & foam have manually animated textures - kindly note if you reset the scale of these items, you will lose the animation.

INSTRUCTIONS - ENSURE YOU DO THIS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO USE THE ANIMATED iPROPS!

Using your file explorer, navigate to the iClone folder: \Props\GJ3D\BEER\Videos

In this folder, there are 2 iProps (BeerBubbles.iProp & NEWFOAM.iProp - you must RENAME the file extensions from .iProp to .wmv for the video diffuse files to work. (You will receive a warning from your operating system - ignore it).

If you DO NOT use the default drives & directories for your iClone files, after loading an animated beer requiring video, you will see in the modify/textures panel of iClone a blank filmstrip if the diffuse box. Simple double click the diffuse box and then navigate to the aforementioed directory & select the beer video for the liquid or the foam video for the foam.

KINDLY NOTE: avatars, furnishings, buildings, etc. seen in promotional imagery are NOT included with this pack.
