My new project file template gives you a quick start to making your own online comic-strip!

This CrazyTalk Animator project includes my special new 'comic-strip panels' prop, a vector prop which makes four "windows" into your scene. This prop gives you the classic four comic-strip panels instantly, inside CrazyTalk Animator!

My template is supplied as a normal CrazyTalk Animator project file, and gives you the same strip as you see in the preview pictures. In the strip I've used the standard library content that ships with CrazyTalk Animator.

So... just load up the project, change the lettering to fit your script, maybe swop out some characters and the background - and you'll soon be making your very own webcomic series!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

* How to get a good comic strip font: In my sample strip I used Gnatfont for the lettering. You might not have this font on your PC. But it's free and widely available for download. Just Google for "Gnatfont", and you'll find plenty of free download locations for it. Download it, extract, and copy the .ttf font file to C:/Windows/Fonts. You can also find loads of great free comics fonts at blambot.com

* How to output your final comic strip: You can either grab it off the screen with screengrab software, or save an image from CrazyTalk Animator. Saving it gives much better quality. To save just one image from a CrazyTalk Animator project, go: Export | Image | Select PNG | Select standard size 'HD 1080p'. Tick the 'Supersampling' tick-box for nice smooth lettering and edges. Now limit the output range to just frame 1 to frame 1 - that means only one frame gets saved. That's it!
