This is a CC Morph pack for creating severed limbs (body parts) from CC charaacters. This Morph pack is not compatible with C4 characters.



Using character based body parts (as opposed to props) has a number of advantages:

1. Body parts can still be manipulated (like a character). For example, fingers can twitch, eyes can blink, etc. You can even use this for undead limbs which act on their own after being severed.

2. Since these body parts are made from a regular CC character, all skin settings/materials on the original character will be, equally, applied to body part.



Note: This implementation is not ideal for scenes with many severed limbs since rendering power for CC Morph limbs will likely be greater than for static prop limbs.




Includes:

1x Head Amputation CC Morphs

2x Hand Amputation CC Morphs(Right and Left)

2x Arm Amputation CC Morphs (Right and Left)

2x Leg Amputation CC Morphs (Right and Left)

2x Foot Amputation CC Morphs (Right and Left)



How To Use:

1. Create or load a regular CC character in CC.

2. Remove all clothing, hair, eyes, tounge and accessories from the characters except if present on the desired body part (e.g. keep hair if making a head body part)

3. Reset all CC morphs except for those on the body part to be made. This is very important! The basic character does have morphs applied and these can cause artifacts if not reset.

4. Apply the desired CC Body Part morph (found in the "Body Parts" sub-section of Actor | Body)

5. Export the Body Part as an Avatar for use in iClone or elsewhere



Note: These are Binary morphs. You either set them to 0% or 100%. Values in between will produce odd effects not intended for use.
