Plugin written in Python and developed under Iclone 8, it is intended to organize feature film productions following the original script.
Each sequence of the script is an iclone project,
In the project folder, we have a subfolder with the name of the film and which contains all the project files of each sequence, we can create additional sequences that do not appear in the original script, we can thus have a hundred project files, we plan a free space that can go up to 4TB for a feature film:
<dir> Project
.<dir> IC Project
...<dir> Les Chemins de St Jacques
..... 1A. EXT. - PARVIS DE LA CATHEDRALE DE NANTES - AUBE.iproject
..... 2A. INT. - CATHEDRALE DE NANTES - JOUR.iproject
..... 2B. EXT. - PARVIS DE LA CATHEDRALE DE NANTES - JOUR.iproject
..... 2C. EXT. - CENTRE VILLE DE NANTES - JOUR.iproject
..... 2D. EXT. - PONT DE LA POISSONNERIE - JOUR.iproject
etc.
For this example, in the original script, we only have 2 sequences, here, as there are too many changes in the nomenclature, we added three sequences that only appear in the breakdown, which is why we add a letter to each sequence number.
First, we can create all the project files, one per sequence, by adding the letter A to the sequence number. We can later create the sub-sequence files as development progresses.
We can copy and paste all the stage directions of the scenario, we can also add the dialogues. The stage directions are saved in separate files, one per sequence and which all have a ".did" extension.
To maintain consistency, if you change the names of projects during development, it will be up to you to rename the .did files in Windows Explorer.
The interest of the plugin is to control the content of each sequence with its Actors and its sets while following the original script.
