The is the Escalators Pack by Cricky.

This package contains the following:

Floor Plate - Used as a binding prop to contain both Escalators as a pair. Escalators can be separated.

A Sample Project containing a Character linked to a single tread, so he can "ride" the escalator.

The same principles apply whether going up or down.

Steps:

1. Walk the characters up as close as you can to the tread.

2. Adjust them for Motion layer edit to the next frame or two by moving them forward or backward by adjustment of the lead foot by transform or by Motion Layer Edit, to ensure they are solid on the tread; then link them to it by selecting the tread they are standing on.

3. Have them hold or not hold a rail, by use of the Motion Layer edits. Unlink The character at the top or bottom, at the end of the trip.

The sample project should give you a clear idea of how it is done. Open the timeline to see the correlations between the components and their settings.
