Gable Roof Building Modules
This pack has 12 versions of the module. The main reason for this is to provide the opportunity to keep the computer resources as low as possible.
You choose the one that has the least amount of content to cover what you want to make
EG. There are 6 that only have external faces and the other 6 include internal faces as well. So if you not going to see anything inside the object your making then you don't use one with internal faces, use the ones without internal faces instead.
The next option is if you won't see the back of the object then there are 3 of the 6 without any back faces. The other 3 have all faces.
Finally each of the 3 versions have different texturing abilities, particularly the walls.
The first one has a single texture. Adding a texture to a wall will cover all walls with that single texture
The second one has a double texture. 1 texture covers the front and back walls. The second texture covers the left and right walls.
The third one has unique textures for each wall. So 4 different textures can be added to that one.
So, if the object you making is say brick walls and its going to be the same bricks all arround it then using the single texture version will save more computer resouces than using the one that has 4 textures but you use the same texture on all 4 of them. Hope that makes sense.
There is an image of all 12 contents within iClones contents when you load these. They have thumbnail texture to try and illustrate their usage. there are 4 with a singe texture on the walls to show they are the single texture ones.
There are 4 with 2 different textures on the walls, they are the dual texture ones. And there is 4 with 3 different textures on the walls. They are the unique texturing ones.
Their names also indicate the ammount of modelling they have.
Bak- means they have no faces on the back of the object
EI means they have internal as well as external faces. E means they only have external faces
UTex,DTex and STex indicates the number of textures.
