Image Rotator.py, is a Python script that makes it simple to change textures for props in IClone.

The IClone Python API does not allow you to switch images on the timeline, so what actually happens is your prop is cloned x number of times, where x = the number of images in a folder minus 1 for the source prop.

To run this script, create two or images and place them in a folder.

The python script is set to look for .png files, but you can change this to .jpg files in any text editor such as Notepad, or I recommend Visual Studio (Community Edition is free).

Instructions
1. Create a folder with two or more images
2. If the prop you want to use has a parent object, detach it from the parent
3. Run Image Rotator.py
4. Select your prop (I have run it many times with the wrong prop selected)
5. Select an interval value between .1 and 30 (not actual seconds)
6. (Optional) Check Add Texture To Glow Channel
7. If Add Texture To Glow Channel is selected, select glow strength
8. (Optional) Check the Random Order checkbox
9. Click the Apply Images button
10. You will be prompted to select a folder containing your images *
11. Subscribe to my YouTube channel if you find this to be worth the price.

* Images must be .png files, or change the Python script to select .jpg files.

Tips
1. Alway make sure to start on frame 1 in IClone
2. Remove object or scene animations and remove child props created
if running the script again
3. For large projects with many characters, props or animations, it is best to use this in a separate project and the add the prop as a custom prop. Then add the custom prop to your large scene.
4. The more frames in your scene, the longer it takes, so be patient for longer scenes.

Known Issues
1. A few times in a large project, IClone would take forever and not respond. In smaller projects this hasn't happened, thus the recommendation is to create a separate project as described above.

2. The progress bar becomes unresponsive, but usually it will finish in a few minutes.
