Text is a 3D text generator to directly type 3D text in iClone. The trial version is for free and comes with a single lower quality font.
The full version is unlimited and comes with high quality fonts. The fonts can have a different material for the front-/back face and the side.

Installation: After copying and extracting the zip file in the ..\iClone 7\Bin64\OpenPlugin folder (in OpenPlugin -> extract here - after the extraction you should have a ..\OpenPlugin\iText folder), start iClone as Administrator (only needed the first time) in case missing Python modules need to be installed.

Start the plugin via the plugin menu in iClone under 3DEA/iText

If you have version 1.1 and below there is an issue with extra fonts that have a lower case extension (.iprop). Extra downloaded fonts need to be renamed to .iProp to work. This is not the case with the current version.
More fonts can be purchased separately in the Marketplace.

This version also checks the directory: ...\iClone Template\Props\3DEA\fonts so that any additional font downloaded from the Marketplace will be picked up automatically. If not, please check your paths and copy any new font into the plugin font directory: ...\iClone 7\Bin64\OpenPlugin\iText\iText\fonts

Note: Do not load font set files in parallel into a scene when using the plug-in as this can cause the plug-in not to function properly!
