This plug-in makes it really easy to control Light Cubes. Light Cubes are a free prop.

This plug-in makes it simple to control one or more light cubes. A light cube contains four sets of Light Pipes, red, green, blue and yelloow.

Uses. A light cube and be sized and positioned to easily change the lighting for a scene. By applying the lighting to different frames, you can change the lights in a scene. This is good for nightclubs / bars, standing under a neon light such as in Times Square or Las Vegas, or even a fireworks show.

In the video I light the lounge scene that comes with IClone by placing the light cubes above the lounge. This prevents the light bounce and other over lighting effects. 

Usage
Add one or more Light Cubes to your scene. The light cubes and be sized, and the child light pipes do not inherit the scale, so this is an easy way to place them in your scene. Position the light pipes where you want before running this python script.

Running This Plug-in
In IClone, select the menu option 'Script - Load Python', and brose for this python script.

Apply Lightiing 
Set the values for range, red, green, blue and yellow and click the Apply Button. This will apply this color at the frame selected on the timeline.

If you set a light value to 0, this will turn the light off.

Hide All Lights
One useful feature is the Hide All Lights. When you turn a Light Cube to visible, this shows the frame lines for 16 point lights. Click the Hide All Lights button to hide the light, but the light pipe will remain visible. 

Hide the light pipes in the Scene Manager.
