METEOR PLAIN TERRAIN

A reasonably good sized terrain, lots of flat space for easy use.

This terrain matches the Meteor Crater terrain. See the video below for an example of how you could use both terrains (converted to props) to film some sort of ground impact or bomb blast crater. Adding destructable props at the moment of impact would also enhance the effect. I have used only items available inside iclone 4.3 for this video.

To get this effect
Load first (Plain) terrain, then convert to prop on modify panel
Load Second(Crater) terrain, convert to prop on modify panel
Select First terrain, visible ON on modify panel
Select Second terrain, visible OFF on modify panel

at the moment you want an impact crater to happen, switch the visible toggle on each terrain prop
First terrain, Visible OFF
Second terrain, Visible ON
you can then tweak the effect on the props timeline

if you are going to dress the set with plants, props, etc, then do this before you convert the terrains to props.
