**The Photorealistic Water And Wave Maker is available as a basic package and doesn't "yet" include the Island bonus from the images. More info in the "Updates" heading.**
-Adjust UV animation to control speed, scale UVs for ocean swelling or tile it to make the surface rough.
-Add physics props to the surface, adjust the collider or attach a dummy with a collider slightly above the model so the prop looks like it's floating (will update with an example-see video below)
-Photorealism is from IRAY but the wave maker can be used with either IRAY or iClone Rendering.
-The Wave maker tool concept can be replaced with other models to create submarines, whales (whale tale could make waves) and maybe even fish etc coming out of the water or strange phnenomina.. whirlpools etc. Just tweek the settings and we'll give you hints as to not break your water! Duplicate the Wave Maker to add more waves and place them spaced to animate accordingly- I've updated this to playback several waves.
There are two water templates, one works with the export license and the original which will only permit native iClone/CC3 renders and scene building. This product contains both versions and are compatible. I had to make new textures for export the export compatible version which are almost identicle. The only main difference is that I originally used a bump texture for all texture channels except roughness. The original has more surface detail and the other maybe best suited for rivers and lakes (try changing the normal map brightness on the Water plane)
Updates
Updated: Optimized for Iray - Tessellation should be set at 1 or 2 at the highest. Smooth mesh by subdivision actually helped displace the model and doesn't need any extra tessellation.
The Island will be added as a bonus-an example of my 16K Island coming soon.
I'd like to add whirl pool to this package as a few other possibilities such as a waterfall, it really depends on the success of this asset in the market place.
SSS - I'm waiting for Realluson to realease their new SSS shader for objects and I hope SSS will be compatible with opacity and Iray compatible. I've already produced an iClone Iray Hybrid but I don't want to keep uploading a new file for every major change so this is why I'm waiting until they release it.
Foam - hasn't been integrated but I'm considering it. I may need to use the super substance tools for setting this up or I may add a different model with a morph - I'll moreso aim for convincing bubbly thick froth rather than an an overlay.
Video info - Just added a quick video demo showing waves physically beach a boat.. the girl did fall off automatically but I changed a few animations quickly to make it look slightly more realistic and added swiming.
