If you want to know how to work with physics watch the videos comming with the Physic beginnerset 1,2 and 3 Physic hair: If you change the head or total character you have to detach the hair and pin the hair again to the new head(RL_head bone) , Allign the hair and then use key combination alt-shift and S.
