For the $ this template is hard to beat and will allow you to become more familiar with how the base animation of a dog works within this setup. It will also force you to experiment using (photopea, photoshop or illustrator) to get your ideal character correct.
So if you want another setup perhaps iClone unless you want to use 2D.
