Go into the content manager and click the arrow next to the prop. You will see a drop-down menu with all the moving parts listed. Click on any part and animate it by using the gizmo.

I love your time machine. I have 2 questions:
1. how do you turn on/off the little lights on the controller?
2. What effects you use to make a character disappear inside the time machine and how to do it?

Hi Simon,
You can use the animation timeline and Modify Panel to do this. In the animation timeline you can select the light you wish to animate. In the first frames of the animation you will go to the modify panel and click on material. Set the opacity to 100%. Now move down the animation timeline to say 20 and set the opacity to 0%, This makes light invisible, move down another 20 frames and set the opacity back to 100%. This will make the light blink on and off. Just copy and paste these frames for as long as you wish the light to animate. To make the character disappear you will do the same thing with the opacity for each section of the character. This takes a while, but you have to select every part of the character in the material section under the modify panel. Turn all parts to 0% opacity and they will disappear from the scene.
