"U-Boat Deck Shoes" service shoes of the kriegsmarine for both officers and submarine servants.
Made of solid canvas and reinforced with rubber, this shoe provided submariners with comfort in an extremely confined space.
At the end of the Second World War, this shoe, after modifications (notably with a reinforcement of the ankles), equipped French soldiers ("Pataugas shoes", from the manufacturer "Pataugas") in hot and humid areas during the wars of decolonization (Indochina, Algeria).
The edition of this shoe includes 4 different skins :
Near mint condition, slightly worn, oily and wet.
