First and foremost I need to say that this content is not something that is useable by itself. It just forms the part of a beard near the lower lip that does not follow the charaters lips properly while the character is talking on cloth beards. This morph uses the characters skin under the lip to form that part of the beard. That way the beard appears to follow the llips better because it is actually tghe characters skin that is moving. See the promo video on my first beard made using this technique Here http://city.reallusion.com/ContentPreview.aspx?i=JCCfc8eb4d5f479408f5 There are more beards on the way that will also use this morph. After trying it with some beards I have already made I found it works OK with them too.(See the video for a comparison). Once downloaded it will appear in the morphs under Head/FacialHair/Beard Also included are 11 textures that should be addable to whatever face texture your CC character is using without affecting the parts of the face outside the beard. You can find these textures by clicking the settings button on the far right hand side of the morph slider and clicking find file. How I use this 1) Set the Beard/Patch slider to 100. This will morph the beard edge under the lip. Now it needs to be textured. 2) Goto the Material tab on the modify panel, select the head texture, select the diffuse map and send it to your 2D editor. I use Krita which is a fantastic, and FREE, 2D editor 3) On the diffuse texture in Krita I drag one of my 11 texture variations from the texture folder into Krita and choose "Insert as New Layer" from the popup message. My textures are completely transparent except for the moustache so the face texture will not be affected. Only the upper lip. 4) Now save the Head texture with the bead texture added and it should change the character in CC so that the beard is now textured. (Keep the head texture and beard layer open in your 2D editor for step 6) 5) Now add the beard and moustache you want to use 6) Check how the morphs beard texture fits the beard and moustache. Maybe even send the character to iClone and animate it with speaking. Goto your 2D editor, select the beard texture layer and adjust the texture where needed. Save the face texture which should automatically update the CC character If testing the character in iClone. Make sure the character is selected in iClone and then resend the character from CC to iClone. This should replace the character in iClone but keep the animation you have. Check again and repeat untill your satisfied with how the textures match Note These textures are 1024 * 1024 pixels and so is the standard CC face texture. Mosty I just use an eraser to remove the parts of the texture not needed by the beard/mo used but also occasionally paint small parts of the skin that arent covered enough by the beard/mo
